General Manager : Senior Games Start Up Professional We are looking for a charismatic and proven Games senior Professional who will act as a General Manager in the development of this exciting mobile and social games studio start:up. Your remit will be to create from scratch into a 100+ person high quality development studio providing the very best in mobile and social gaming. It will have your stamp, your ideals and philosophies whilst being part of a global gaming development company. You will hire, develop processes and procedures, motivate, and represent the first European game studio for this company. You will source and attract and retain the very best executive team for the game studio, as well as provide strong strategic leadership team for the company. This position will report into the global CEO and will have the opportunity of developing into a CEO role. Responsibilities: To continue efforts with regards to the establishment of an entity with the creation of processes and procedures. Set timelines, milestones and measurable targets with the group CEO. Source, attract and hire staff. Ensure team cohesion and effective collaboration with Design, Development, and QA teams to build game products and services. Work with all relevant stakeholders to drive product/service definition and design Coordinate and lead efforts across cross:functional teams, including Marketing, User Research, Localization, Business Development, Licensing, Legal, and other groups Contribute to the strategy and business model for the product line, and take ownership of the roadmap Required Skills: Demonstrated experience in a games start up operation. Proven game production/development life cycle experience. Experience with multi:cultural team and dynamics. Proven delivery of successful games. Demonstrable passion for driving high quality and an engaging user experience Proven ability to partner effectively with cross:functional disciplines, and to influence effectively
